Nursery Works is a beautifully designed, spatially aware company that provides years of use as your child grows. We first bought this 5 years ago, using it as a crib with changing station & storage, then later converting it to a toddler bed with a desk function. The wood is a very contemporary, brown zebra with white side panels. It has a few cosmetic scratches. It comes with two high side panels (crib) and a lower one for the toddler/ transition bed (to prevent rolling out at night). However, the lower toddler side panel needs to be screwed in place as the original clasp broke (a very easy adjustment). Also, the changing station can open and close, but the clasp holding it closed has also broke - but with some double sided velcro it should hold it closed if desired - we always just left it open as we like the ease of accessing it... Also included is a changing table mat & cover - but this does not come with a mattress for the crib/ bed. It is currently disassembled.
